Sometimes all you need is a little cartoon & some striping. Now you have a custom paint job that expresses your unique personality.
Or maybe you need a little more exotic artwork that lets everyone know you are a Grateful Dead fan!
The duck on the left is a cartoon that is painted on the factory paint without sanding the area first, no airbrush needed and no expensive clear coat painting done to cover the artwork. The eagle on the right is painted using airbrushing & hand painted fine detailing. This type of artwork definitely requires clear coat painting to protect and enhance it.
These photos are of two different buses that were painted for Kenny Rogers, one bus theme was a Mississippi riverboat while the other bus had images of a steam train. The artwork for both was painted on both sides with complimentary artwork on the rear. There was also glass etching and signage created to keep the theme cohesive even inside the buses.
Sometimes the artwork speaks for itself, when the image is iconic. Left - Marilyn Monroe on a tire cover. Right - Martin Luther King, Jr. on a car.
If you use your imagination you will see on the left you are looking down on the lid of a commercial style trash can(yes I said trash can). On the right is a close up of one section of this lid. Believe it or not the base of the can was painted black with flames and the whole project was clear coated just like a car!
Sometimes I get rather unusual requests. In this instance this is a rocket nozzle. My job was to make it appear as if it had been used & had the high heat pattern it would have after being burned. This nozzle was used in a display.
